Community Governance Review
South Norfolk Council has been undertaking a Community Governance Review.
The aims of the Review were to:
- Improve community engagement and local democracy.
- Facilitate efficient, effective and convenient delivery of local services and ensure electors across the whole District are treated equitably and fairly.
The Review started on 20 March 2017 and the first consultation period ended on 13 June 2017. It has now been completed.
Part of the Review covered potential changes to Parish Boundaries. Denton PC suggested that the boundary between Denton and Earsham should be modified with eight properties currently in Earsham Parish moving into Denton.
This has been accepted by SNC. The change would come into effect in May 2019.
