Gladys Brooks
It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of Gladys while we were on holiday.
She had been our neighbour since we came to Denton 20 years ago and was always ready to chat about the old days and people of the village. She was one of the first members of our Friendly Club and always generous and loyal. Her love of sport sometimes took priority but who could blame her, she really loved sport of all kinds on TV.
Gladys will be sadly missed but we understand that she had a peaceful passing to her well-earned rest. Being away we were unable to attend her funeral. Our deepest sympathy goes out to her family.
