The Year of the Photographers
For many years Denton has benefitted from the great services of a skilled photographer, Ken Ashton, many of whose pictures have appeared on this website.
Some of the latest can be found in the record of the Jubilee celebrations.
However, we now have two more practitioners of the art to assist him.
One, Robin Brown, is very young but his skills in taking pictures of wildlife were ably shown in the Exhibition staged at the Village Hall in February.
The other, Mark Richards, is a retired press photographer so very experienced in the craft.
He enjoys spending a lot of his time at village events snapping away - very effectively. As a result we have been delighted to include many examples in News items etc. on this site and look forward to doing so in the future.
