An Election Year
Every four years elections must be held for South Norfolk District Council and Denton Parish Council.
At the district level, Denton forms part of the two-member Ditchingham & Earsham Ward. On May 4th, six candidates were standing but the two sitting Liberal Democrat councillors,
Denton resident Chris Brown and Brendon Bernard from Ditchingham, were re-elected.
All seven seats on the Parish Council were to be filled, but, very conveniently, only seven nominations were received, even more convenienty they were for the same people previously in post, so no voting was required.
