Minutes of the Meeting Held on Tuesday 20th November 2010
Present: Liz Cargill (Chairman), Terry Hanner (Vice Chairman), Peter Hill and Adrian Hipwell.
Planning Application Ref: 2010/1830
Retrospective planning permission for the extension being built at The Rectory, Denton.
This was discussed and councillors agreed they were still concerned with regard the height and mass of the building as stated in the original response. They also took the view that the Joint Church Council should also have been consulted at the time of the original application.
Playing Field Funding - it was agreed that the parish council contribution to the funding for new play equipment in the play area would be as follows:
Dentill £1,300
Calor Competition £2.200
Total £3,500
Peter Hill agreed to organise the contract between Joy Playgrounds and Denton Parish Council with a completion date of 28th February. 2011 although Joy Playgrounds expressed
the intention to complete by 31st January. 2011. It was unanimously agreed that the chairman
would sign the contract on behalf of the parish council.
Peter Hill explained that South Norfolk Council would arrange the final inspection with Rospa.
It was agreed DPC would pay Joy Playground £3,500 plus VAT on receipt of a satisfactory report from Rospa. Vote was unanimous
N.B. It was.decided that compost funds should be held in reserve for allotment fencing and possibly a trailer.
